This (very early) morning we went to Rungis. Rungis is a town near Paris with the largest food (wholesale) market called Marché d’Intérêt National de Rungis. The market is open from 1am to 7am. So we had to meet near school at 4:30am!! Around 5 o’clock we arrived at the market and went into the fish hall. It’s not the most pleasant smell at 5 in the morning..
After the delicious fish we went to the meat halls. Maybe close your eyes if your a vegetarian?
Hey piggy piggy! Oink oink
So much meat.. meat everywhere.
So apparently Rungis market sells some flowers, but their business isn’t going well because of the Dutch hehehe. We just do it better. (Flower market Aalsmeer)
After the flowers we went to the cheeses.
Last stop before some breakfast: veggies and fruits.
Forgot to take a picture of the breakfast… It consisted of a croissant, baguette, hams, cheeses, juice, coffee and… red wine. I know I should start drinking more wine and stuff.. 9 am is just a bit too early okay? =.=
